Mission Statement
Our goal at APG Benefits as life insurance brokers/consultants is to assist firms of all sizes in every industry to design and provide group benefit plans for their employees that are appreciated, affordable and sustainable. For firms with existing benefit plans, we will advise and recommend the necessary changes which will reduce your present claims experience and premium costs. Due to the escalating rates of inflation for medical and dental costs even the largest employers require a Broker with not only product knowledge, but with creative ideas and solutions in order to maintain a comprehensive cost-effective benefits plan for their firm. These strategies will assist you and your firm to get control of your insurance costs.
We utilize the LifeGuide life insurance software to assist us to locate the best life insurance premiums available for our clients. It is updated every month and provides the premium costs for all of the life products offered by the top 40 life insurance companies in BC. Comparisons show that premiums can range as much as 150% among BC’s insurers for the same policy product. We shop the markets for you to locate the best rates.
Our Team
Kevin Nosworthy
The founder of APG Benefits has an extensive background in sales and marketing.

Kevin spent 12 years with BC Tel Yellow Pages, where he won several sales awards. He joined Tony Defazio and Michelle Hansen in 1999 and became one-third of the DHN Financial team. In the summer of 2001, Kevin began marketing the Chamber of Commerce Group Insurance Plan and in June 2004, APG Benefits purchased the marketing rights.
With Kevin at the helm, APG Benefits has won 5 different recognitions for Marketing Excellence, as well as an Outstanding Achievement award from the local Chamber. Kevin has held several positions with the Meadow Ridge Rotary Club. He volunteered his time with minor hockey.
Kevin prides himself in customer service with all his clients, big or small.
Kelvin NG
Kelvin joined the team in May 2017 and has had 10 years of corporate sales experience in the business intelligence and information technology industry. He is proud to be the achiever of "Winners Circle" in 2009 awarding the top 15% of account managers for excellent performance.
A tailor-made approach is most important to ensure that all of our client's needs are met and taken care of. Kelvin is committed to aiding in the Chamber Health and Dental plans as well as providing personal life and living benefits needs.
Kelvin is also a professional magician dazzling audiences throughout his entire life. Please do not hesitate to ask him to show you something.
Debbie Nosworthy
Debbie brings a wealth of office experience to APG Benefits. Her background includes over 20 years as an office administrator.
Most recently she worked for 2 years as an event coordinator/administrator. Debbie left this position to join her husband in the Health and Dental marketing field.
Debbie is responsible for the Accounting at APG Benefits.
Tiana Mitchell
Born and raised in Maple Ridge, Tiana graduated from Samuel Robertson Technical school in 2016. She held positions with an online web team for Visions before being hired as an Administrative Assistant with APG Benefits in 2021.
Tiana looks forward to the challenges the insurance world offers!
Tiffany Chan
With an extensive background in marketing and sales, Tiffany joined the team to work with all potential and new clients of APG Benefits.
Tiffany was born in Vancouver and has spent the last 2 years raising her family in the Maple Ridge area.
When not working, Tiffany can be found volunteering at her children's schools or involved with their after-school activities.
